Artist bio
Anson is the first wheelchair user to graduate from the college’s keyboard faculty, where he studied under Professor Nigel Clayton. He has also been generously supported by Talent Unlimited since 2023.
Anson has performed internationally across Europe, Asia, and America. Making his debut in 2019, he has since collaborated as a soloist with esteemed orchestras, including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Asian Chamber Orchestra. In 2024, he performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., marking a major milestone in his career.
Frequently invited to public events, Anson has participated in several music and arts festivals. Highlights include the SPARK Festival in 2021 organized by the British Council Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Museum of Art’s “City Dress Up: Blossoming Stairs” event, and the Head On Photo Festival in 2022 at the Royal College of Music. In addition to his solo work, Anson has collaborated with renowned musicians such as violinist Midori Gotō and Hong Kong pianist Colleen Lee.
